UKM - This is us
UKM stands for medicine in the German hospital landscape and is one of the most successful maximum care providers nationwide. Every year we treat more than 50,000 inpatients and almost half a million outpatient contacts. Together with the Medical Faculty of University of Münster, we contribute to the training of doctors and scientists as the University Medical Centre of Münster, thereby ensuring the continuous development of health care.

Team
We employ around 11,500 people – making us the largest employer in the region.
The largest professional groups are represented by the medical-technical service with almost 1,800 people and the entire nursing area with more than 2,000 employees. We also work with carpenters, bakers, technicians and gardeners. With more than 750 students, including more than 300 in nursing, and more than 70 trainees, we are also one of the largest training companies in the region. We provide training in total of 35 professions.
